Can my sibling, aunt/uncle, or grandparent sign my waiver if I'm under the age of 18?
NO!!! It has to be signed by a parent or your court appointed legal guardian. There are no exceptions. If you are under the age of 18 you must download a copy of the waiver, print it out, and have your parent or legal guardian fill it out before the event. We're working on getting electronic waivers to avoid this in the future.
A copy of the waiver can be found here at http://adventureguidecompany.com/liability-waiver
How do I schedule an event or course?
First thing that needs to happen, you need to check out our event calendar. From there if the for whatever reason the webpage isn;t working just e-mail/call either Ben Wright or Melanie Laughlin to get a date on the books. Their contact info is located at the bottom of this page. Depending on the type of event will determine the timing and location.
What is the meaning of life?
What will happen if the weather is bad?
Inclement weather is always a concern for the outdoor community. In the event of bad weather, depending on the type of event, we can either move the location to our indoor affiliate North Texas Outdoor Pursuit Center, reschedule the event, or refund the event including your deposit. It is your personal preference how we move forward.
Will we ever find bigfoot?
I HOPE SO! Come on one of our adventures and maybe we'll get lucky!
Is there a deposit? What are your cancellation policies?
There is a $50 deposit for most events and courses. Your AGC contact will instruct you whether your event will need a deposit as many factors go into play. The only way a refund will be issued on a deposit is in the case of inclement weather.
Why is there a snake around your logo?
Come on a trip and we'll tell you!
